FrameOra ("we", "our", or "us") is a professional photography management platform operated by FrameOra Technologies. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users — photographers, studio owners, and their clients. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

By using FrameOra, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

• Name, email address, phone number, and studio/business name provided during registration.
• Profile details including GSTIN or business registration numbers (optional, for billing).
• Payment and billing information processed securely via Razorpay.

2.2 Content You Upload

• Photos, images, and associated metadata (EXIF data) uploaded to events or albums.
• Watermark configurations, branding assets, and event details.
• Client selection records and e-gallery content created through the platform.

2.3 Usage & Technical Data

• IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
• Pages visited, features used, session duration, and click patterns.
• Error logs and performance data to improve platform reliability.

2.4 Client (End-User) Data

Photographers may share event access links with their clients. When clients view galleries or make photo selections, we collect minimal data (e.g., OTP-verified phone number or email) solely to enable the selection workflow. This data is associated with the photographer's account and is not used for independent marketing.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Service Delivery: To operate, maintain, and improve your dashboard, events, e-galleries, and photo delivery workflows.
• Authentication & Security: To verify identity via OTP, prevent unauthorised access, and detect fraudulent activity.
• Billing & Subscriptions: To process payments, manage subscription plans, and send invoices.
• Communications: To send transactional emails (OTPs, event links, receipts) and, with your consent, product updates or offers.
• Analytics & Improvements: To understand how users interact with FrameOra and enhance features accordingly.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable Indian laws, regulations, and court orders.

4. Data Storage & Security

All uploaded photos and user data are stored on secure cloud infrastructure (AWS S3 and managed databases) with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. We perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Despite our best efforts, no system is completely immune to breaches. In the event of a data incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable regulations.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Payment Processors: Razorpay processes all payment transactions. Their privacy policy governs payment data.
• Cloud Providers: AWS for file storage and infrastructure hosting.
• Communication Services: Email and SMS providers for OTP and transactional messages.
• Legal Obligations: When required by law, government authority, or to protect our legal rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and uploaded content will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes (up to 7 years for financial records as per Indian GST regulations).

As a user, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold.
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information via your profile settings.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Data Portability: Export your event data and photos from the dashboard.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

8. Cookies & Tracking

FrameOra uses essential cookies for session management and authentication tokens stored in localStorage. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised.

9. Children's Privacy

FrameOra is intended for professional use by individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of FrameOra after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
